Hate the ghost runner. And why are we calling it a ghost runner anyway? Ghost runner was what we called it as kids when we played one on two games. Cause there wasn’t anyone actually on the bases.
Growing up in suburban Stamford, I always had the view that the area around the park was a wasteland. But the last time travelled to Citi a few years ago, as a West Coaster in need of lodging, we stayed in downtown flushing, and walked along Roosevelt avenue to get to the ballpark. I realized for the first time it’s not so far from a vibrant area. I think there are plenty of options for pre and post game fun around Citi field.
Good morning. One question re the proposed changes to the neighborhood - what does this mean for parking at Citi field (which at best is a disaster as is, specifically how impossible it is at times to get into the official lot and if you do, how long it takes to leave)? Thank you.
Lindor needs to buy Squirrel a car so I can stop thinking about it. As for the development around Citi Field, fasten your seatbelts. Cohen may have Eric Adams on his side but that does not guarantee other elected officials in Queens will cooperate. I expect lots of fights.

I agree. I routinely hit Flushing for Szechuan when I go to games. I often bring it in too. You don’t want to sit next to me.
