What a great morning! But to continue a thread from yesterday regarding tax deductions, I think we need Congress to release Steve Cohens taxes, so we can all see if his $114M “luxury tax” is the largest tax he actually pays. Most of us need more than their pocket change to pay their taxes.
Being a Mets fan since 1973, and especially vibing with the mid 80's teams.... I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING A HATED TEAM AGAIN!!! That's a NY Frequency! We THRIVE off of that type of atmosphere! And HOPEFULLY, we LOSE some of that "nice-guy" persona. I hate it! Like watching Knicks players help their opponents off of the deck; after knocking em on their asses! I get dizzy bc I can literally feel Anthony Mason spinning in his fookin grave! 🙅🏽🤣💪🏽
This is an amazing way to create a franchise persona. Steve Cohen's determination to field a winning team every single game is unparalleled. Every team is going to want to beat us so the Mets have to bring their A-game every single night. As a fan, I really could not ask for much more.
Quick take: Alvarez, only 20, to AAA for more seasoning; Baty to LF in platoon/part-time role; Escobar in utility role, needs to get out his old 2B glove; Guillorme gone, has no role on this team. Ruf, same.
