I and struggling to understand how signing Stroman isn’t a no-brainer. He thrived in NY. What else is there to say? He’s worth the price. As for Thor, I don’t think it’s ridiculous for LA as a long term gamble. Even if he pitches 120 innings, if it looks like he’s back and will be a top free agent the following year, they’re gambling he falls in love with LA and they’re the front runner. Makes sense to me. And they can afford a total bust (which I thought we were able to as well).
