I was gonna mention the guitar music opening last week because I felt you guys changed it relating to the excitement of the Yankees series to get us all hyped up. I enjoyed it and still do. Mebbe it’ll become a thing and the musicians amongst us will keep sending in different sorts of “Let’s go Mets” for you guys to mix and match as the Pod goes on. Just a thought. I kinda have to disagree with the Red Sox being a great team. They are a .500 team that has been middling most of the season and I thought the Mets had a good shot at winning the series going in. Yes, the Sox have good players but they haven’t put it together yet and hadn’t before the Mets went to Fenway. The third base dilemma is something worth keeping an eye on. The hot corner NEEDS someone who can field. Giving up outs is a sure way to sink a season. Given what we have seen with the glove so far Baty deserves to be out there. Vientos is a terrible defender who has even had worse luck with a ball literally going through his glove which he apparently didn’t care that much about as he went out the next inning with the same fucking glove! That was bush league in my opinion and I don’t care if they tightened up the leather. If that happened to say Arenado do you think he goes out with the same glove? I highly doubt it. This team has ground ball pitchers which is how the rotation was built. Infield fielding is PARAMOUNT to the success of this team. Errors are going to happen but you can’t be holding your breath with every ball hit to third base. Sorry. If both continue scuffling look for Mauricio around the mid-season if he keeps raking. He needs to be built up to play a whole game. I also think he sees his chance so we might actually get what we thought he was going to be when he gets here. That would be awesome. The Mets know they can beat the Dodgers. I think we will take 2outta 3. LGM!
JB, you are scaring the shit out of me with this new data and how it pertains to Soto. Id rather you just lie to me at this point!
Ha! He still has a desirable swing, but it is a bit concerning for his power output.

Love all of this. And yes, if our musician fans want to send in new variations, we are all ears!
