I’m a huge Alonso fan. Great points here — particularly the way Cohen was seen as being ready to outbid whoever gave Pete an offer. I heard Boras was trying to tell owners that the Mets wouldn’t do that but obviously a lot of GM’s weren’t buying it.
Just heard the podcast. You really should do it more often. As for the drinking game I think we would get drunker if we took a drink every time Peter said “Guess what “.

I agree with Peter in the podcast - I love Pete and he is going to have a great year behind Soto - this shores up the Mets in several ways (Keept Vientos at 3rd). I admit i am a big Alaonzo fan.
