Peter, that was very well written. I completely agree with your critique of the Media, the League, and, sadly, Terry Collins. I’d like to think Terry was acting more out of obliviousness than any conscious act of self promotion at the expense of his former player. Such a sad sad story.
Thank you. I’ve always liked Terry Collins. And I do think he meant well. Initially, I figured he got caught off guard by the NY Post, wanted to set the record straight that the team had tried to help Harvey, and then answered one or two more questions than he should have. I was really disappointed when he also added WFAN and SNY interviews, and continued to talk about some very personal issues that weren’t his place to address.
I dont know why but this Harvey story has made me very emotional all week. This is a very good piece Peter that basically sums up my own feelings. We were there the second night of the season when he came back from his injury - it was like a football game everything including him was electric. For that story to end like this is very very very sad.
Very disappointed in Terry Collins - keep your mouth shut, Terry. He revealed information that was not his to share. I felt a lot of empathy for Matt this week. Kay's lawyers were doing their job but their attempt to deflect their client's culpability by smearing Matt was difficult to watch. Most of all I hope Matt is okay and taking care of himself.
Speaking about "A very Dark Knight" it might be darker for the game soon as fans are getting tired of this lockout and are considering boycotting the games if this continues.

Thank you Steve. It sounds like we were having a lot of the same thoughts watching this all play out.
