When you’re stuck in a losing streak, everything seems to go wrong.
Yesterday, after Max Scherzer was scratched because of neck spasms, the umpires blew an obvious interference call, and despite a valiant comeback effort, New York dropped their 12th game in 15 tries. They are now 1–6 against the Tigers, Rockies and Reds.
