Good Morning,
It’s been too long. These past few newsletters have been spaced out like Darin Ruf’s hits after the trade deadline (sorry, couldn’t help myself).
All kidding aside, it’s time to get back into rhythm. With the Winter Meetings approaching, we should start to see some legitimate activity over the next few weeks. And there are plenty of topics to cover as the 2023 roster starts to take shape.
During the past month, we have spent a lot of time thinking about this newsletter and how to make it valuable to our readers. The original idea for Mets Fix was to create content that you can’t find anywhere else, while providing a succinct summary of the day’s news. As a fan, this is what I want to read about my favorite team. That has always been our guiding principle.
With that in mind, we ask for your feedback. As we start our coverage of the 2023 Mets this offseason (our next real issue will publish on Friday), how can we make this newsletter more valuable to you? Click below to offer your feedback anonymously.
We built this thing together. Let’s keep doing it that way.
That’s it, for now. Our offseason is over. Let’s hope the Mets’ offseason is fruitful. Talk to you again on Friday!
~ Jeff, Blake and Peter
A Quick Update
Honestly can't think of a thing I would change. I particularly appreciate your bullpen usage chart, so much so that I've adopted the format for my own Strat-O-Matic league (played mostly during the off-season to bridge the void). Just keep doing what you're doing!
I really think I it’s great just like it is. A return to regular contributions from Blake and Peter would be terrific!
